BookingBoss was built by Jesse R. Rooney, an entrepreneur from the Bay Area, California. After spending time working directly with local small businesses, Jesse noticed the same problem everywhere — independent shop owners were paying $30 to $40 a month just to let customers book appointments, on top of commissions cut from every transaction.
